Concern for Missing Kemp Mill Area Woman

Update: October 3, 2017 at 9:15 p.m.- Sharron Ellen Brooks has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kemp Mill area woman.

Sharron Ellen Brooks, age 55, of University Boulevard West, was last seen by co-workers when she left her Falls Road work address on Friday, September 29 at approximately 12:30 p.m.  Ms. Brooks normally commutes to and from work using public transportation.  Family members have been unable to contact her since that time.

Sharron Ellen Brooks is described as an African American female who is 5’ 5” tall and weighs 185 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  Ms. Brooks was last seen wearing a red sweater over a white and black plaid shirt and dark pants.

Police and family members are concerned for Ms. Brooks’ welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sharron Ellen Brooks to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
