Detectives Investigate Germantown 7-Eleven Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the September 29 armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Germantown.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Friday, September 29 at approximately 1:41 a.m., 5th District officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 19786 Crystal Rock Drive for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that the two suspects confronted a person who was exiting the store after making a delivery.  Both suspects had their faces concealed and one had a handgun.  The suspects ordered the delivery person to re-enter the store and then followed him inside.  The armed suspect confronted the adult male employee who was working behind the counter and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands.  The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of currency and fled from the 7-Eleven.
