Chief Manger has announced the following promotion and transfers:

Acting Assistant Chief - Captain Laura Lanham

Chief Manger has announced that effective October 1, Captain Laura Lanham, former Commander of the 4th District, is acting Assistant Chief of the Investigative Services Bureau. Captain Lanham has been nominated by the County Executive to be an Assistant Chief of Police. Her nomination has been sent to the County Council for confirmation. The date of the confirmation hearing has not been finalized.

Fourth District Commander - Captain Marc Yamada

Chief Manger has announced that effective October 15, Captain Marc Yamada, former Director of the Community Engagement Division, will be the Commander of the Fourth District.

Second District Commander - Captain Paul Liquorie

Chief Manger has announced that effective October 15, Captain Paul Liquorie, former Director of the Special Investigations Division, will be the Commander of the Second District.

Captain David Falcinelli, the current Commander of the Second District, will take the role of Duty Commander.

Please note that the Commanders of the other four police districts will remain in their positions.
