Detectives Investigate Residential Burglary in Kensington; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate an October 8 residential burglary in Kensington.  Today, detectives are releasing home surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Sunday, October 8 at approximately 1:22 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to a home in the 10100 block of Thornwood Road for the report of a residential burglary.  The investigation by detectives revealed that the suspects forced entry into the residence through a rear sliding glass door at approximately 2:15 a.m. that morning. The residents were not home at the time. The suspects stole property and fled.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
