Concern For Missing Silver Spring Man

Update:  Sorie Thullah has been located safe and unharmed.  Police thank the media and residents for their assistance in publicizing this case.

Detectives with the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing 22-year-old Silver Spring man.

On Friday, October 27 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Sorie Alieu Thullah had been transported to Holy Cross Hospital on Forest Glen Road in Silver Spring for a medical evaluation.  During the evaluation Thullah left the hospital; he was not wearing any clothing.  Police and caretakers are concerned for his emotional and physical welfare.

Thullah is described as an African American male who is 5' 7" tall and weighs 135 pounds.  He lives in a group residence on Dewitt Drive in Silver Spring and his known to frequent the area of the Progress Place homeless resource center at 8106 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sorie Alieu Thullah is urged to call 9-1-1.
