Concern for Missing Aspen Hill Area Man

Update: November 3, 2017 - Michael Andrus Hughes has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Aspen Hill area man.

Michael Andrus Hughes, age 65, of Baltic Avenue, was last seen at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30 when a friend dropped him off at the intersection of Veirs Mills Road and Twinbrook parkway.  Hughes told that friend that he was going to the CVS Pharmacy located at 2210 Veirs Mill Road and that he would use public transportation to return home.  Hughes did not return home and friends have been unable to contact him since that time.

Mr. Hughes is described as a white male, 5’ 10” tall and weighs 230 pounds.  He has white hair, blue eye, and a beard.  He was last seen wearing clothing to include a black vest and dark pants.

Police and friends are concerned for Mr. Hughes welfare.
