Concern for Missing Millersville Man

Update: 11/6/17 - Daniel Jay Cooper Jr. has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from the Millersville area of Anne Arundel County.

Daniel Jay Cooper Jr., age 30, of Paddle Wheel Court West last spoke with family via cellphone at approximately 5:00 p.m. this evening (November 3).  At that time, he was believed to be operating his black, 2011 Ford Fusion with Maryland tags, 4CA7748.  Mr. Cooper was unsure of his location but described to family that he believed he was currently in the Rockville or Potomac area.

Daniel Jay Cooper Jr. is described as a white male, 5’ 11” and weighs 190 pounds.  He has short brown hair and wears glasses.

Police and family members are concerned for Mr. Cooper’s welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Jay Cooper Jr. or the Ford Fusion to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
