Concern for Baltimore Man Missing from Silver Spring

UPDATE: 11/5/17 (11:30 pm) - Mr. Cochran has been located safe and unharmed.




Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a Baltimore man missing from Silver Spring.

Michael Lawrence Cochran, age 52, of Baltimore, left his friend's residence located in the 8500 block of Barron Street in Silver Spring on foot today at approximately 6:20 p.m.  Since that time, he has not been in contact with family or friends.  Police and family are concerned for Cochran's emotional and physical welfare.

Cochran is described as a white male, 6’0” tall, and weighing 275 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a dark green sweater, dark-colored shorts, and sandals.

Anyone with information in regard to the whereabouts of Mr. Cochran is asked to call 9-1-1 or the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).
