Detectives Investigate Domestic-Related Homicide

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- Major Crimes Division are investigating a domestic-related homicide in the White Oak area. The suspect is in custody.

At approximately 6:48 this morning, the 50-year-old suspect called the Emergency Communications Center (911) and stated that he had killed his girlfriend and that he was currently outside of his residence.  Officers responded to the home located in the 11000 block of Bradbury Manor Court and located the suspect outside of the home.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Officers located the 43-year-old female victim deceased inside of the home with apparent trauma to her body.  The victim’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the cause of death.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect and victim were dating and shared the Bradbury Manor Court home.

The circumstances surrounding this homicide remain under investigation.  The identities of the suspect and victim will be released once the suspect is transported to the Central Processing Unit and is formally charged.
