Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Update: Death in Wheaton Ruled Homicide; Suspect Arrested

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman missing from Wheaton.

Dania Suyapa Mendez De Guerra, age 21, of the 11500 block of Amherst Avenue, left her place of employment, the KFC restuarant located at 2119 University Boulevard West, just after midnight on Monday, November 6.  De Guerra, who normally walks from her residence to and from work, did not return home after work that evening.

De Guerra is described as a Hispanic female, 5’4” tall, and weighing 185 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a KFC uniform - black pants, a red polo shirt with KFC insignia, a black hat with KFC insignia, and black shoes.

De Guerra does not speak English and does not have access to a vehicle.  She is not familiar with public transportation.
