Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Teenager

Update: November 12, 2017 - Elizabeth Anaya has returned home and is safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg teenager.

Elizabeth Anaya, age 17, of the 17600 block of Shady Spring Terrace in Gaithersburg, was last seen leaving her home on Saturday, November 11 at approximately 7:30 p.m.  She stated to family that she was going to have dinner with friends and then would return home.  Anaya did not return home and her whereabouts are unknown.

Anaya is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’04” tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  Anaya was last seen wearing clothing to include a black top with ruffles over a black tank top, jeans, and knee-high brown boots.

Police and family are concerned for Anaya's emotional and physical welfare.  Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Elizabeth Anaya is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
