Concern for Missing Burtonsville Juvenile

For Immediate Release: Thursday, November 16, 2017

Update: November 17, 2017 - Ross Cyrus Jones has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Burtonsville juvenile.

Ross Cyrus Jones, age 16, of Blackburn Lane was last leaving Paint Branch High School located at 14121 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 13.  Family have been unable to contact him since that time.

Ross Cyrus Jones is described as an African American male, who is 6’ 2” tall and weighs 155 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police and family are concerned for Ross’ welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Ross Cyrus Jones is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
