Concern for Missing Wheaton Area Woman

Update: November 17, 2017 - Lilian Sefcik has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Wheaton area woman.

Lilian Sefcik, age 65, was last seen by family members at approximately 3:22 p.m. this afternoon when she left her Henderson Avenue residence on foot.  Family reported that Sefcik was last seen heading toward Georgia Avenue.

Sefcik is described as a white female, approximately 5’ 10” tall and weighs 108 pounds.  She has short white hair and was last seen wearing a brown brimmed hat, plaid shirt, tan pants, and pink shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Sefcik’s physical and emotional welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lilian Sefcik to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
