Media Advisory: Holiday Alcohol Task Force - Roll Call Tonight

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, November 22, 2017

WHAT:

Members of the Montgomery County Police Alcohol Holiday Task Force will be devoting their full time and attention to detecting alcohol-related offenses this holiday season.

Media is invited to the task force's "roll call" - a briefing that occurs each evening before the officers begin to patrol the streets.

SPEAKERS WILL INCLUDE:

• Montgomery County Police Department Assistant Chief Darryl McSwain
• Rich Leotta, father of fallen Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta.  Officer Noah Leotta was working a member of the annual holiday task force when he was struck by a drunk driver on December 3, 2015.  He succumbed to his injuries on December 10, 2015.
• Representative from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
• Representative from Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control
