Concern for Missing 86-Year-Old Fairland Area Woman with Alzheimer’s

Update: December 2 - Anita Darisme has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 86-year-old Fairland area woman with Alzheimer’s.

Anita Darisme, of the 2900 block of Gracefield Road was last seen by family members at approximately 7:00 p.m. this evening when she walked away from her home. Family members report that Ms. Darisme has limited verbal communication.

Anita Darisme is described as an African American female who is approximately 4’6” tall, and weighs 160 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes. Ms. Darisme was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, multi-colored pajama pants, and black slippers.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Anita Darime is urged to immediately call 9-1-1.
