Concern for Missing Colesville Area Man

Update: December 23, 2017 - Arley Bruce Douglas Jr. has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Colesville area man.

Arley Bruce Douglas Jr., age 63, left his residence, an assisted living facility located at 12325 New Hampshire Avenue, in a wheelchair yesterday (December 22) at approximately 7:00 p.m.  Mr. Douglas is need of medication that he does not have it with him and he did not tell staff where he was going.

Mr. Douglas is described as a white male, 5’10” tall, and weighing 290 pounds.  He has salt and pepper colored hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black jacket over a hospital gown, black pants, and a derby style hat.  Detectives believe that Mr. Douglas may be in the area of Crystal City Virginia.

Police and family are concerned with Mr. Douglas’ welfare.
