Detectives Investigate Quebec Terrace Shooting as Homicide

For Immediate Release: Sunday, December 24, 2017

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a shooting death of an 18-year-old male. Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.

On Sunday, December 24 at 6:31 p.m., 3^rd District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace in Silver Spring for the report of an assault and the sounds of gunshots.  First responders located a deceased male outside of 1010 Quebec Terrace.  His body had apparent gunshot wounds.

Patrol officers set up a perimeter in the area.  A police K9 also attempted to track the suspect(s) in the area of the shooting.  No suspect(s) were located.
