Concern for Missing Montgomery Village Woman

For Immediate Release: Sunday, December 31, 2017

Update: January 1, 2018 - Egnal Virginia Green has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Montgomery Village woman.

Egnal Virginia Green, age 55, of Roman Way, was last seen by hospital staff at approximately midnight on Saturday, December 30, when she was released from Washington Adventist Hospital located at 7600 Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park.

Green is described as an African American female, approximately 5’6” tall and weighs 180 pounds.  She has black hair in braids and brown eyes.

Police and family are concerned for Green’s physical welfare as she has not returned home or contacted family since being released from the hospital.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Egnal Virginia Green is asked to call the 24-hour police non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
