Concern for Missing Germantown Man

Update: January 9, 2018 - Jerry Nisah Poku has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Germantown area man.

Jerry Nisah Poku, age 24, who resides in the 20000 block of Brook Run Place was last seen when he was driven to the Shady Grove metro by a family member on December 6. Family members reported him missing to the Police Department on January 2.

Poku is described as an African American male, 5’ 10” tall and weighing approximately 208 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes. Poku was last seen wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Family and police are concerned for Poku’s emotional and physical welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jerry Nisah Poku is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
