Detectives Investigate Germantown 7-Eleven Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the December 29 armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Germantown.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Friday, December 29 at approximately 1:35 a.m., 5th District officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 18701 Liberty Mill Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that the two suspects, both with their faces concealed and armed with handguns, entered the store and confronted two adult employees.  The suspects demanded money and after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the register they fled from the store.

Anyone with information regarding these suspects or this armed robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
