Concern For Missing Derwood Area Man

For Immediate Release: Monday, January 8, 2018

Update: January 10, 2018 - Anthony Monroe Harris has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Derwood area man.

Anthony Monroe Harris, 31 years old, of the 15900 block of Frederick Road, left his residence on Sunday, January 7.   Anthony Harris is described as an African American male, 6' 4" tall, and weighing 190 pounds.  When he left his residence he was wearing a green winter coat and grey sweatpants.  Harris is currently using crutches.

Police and family are concerned for Anthony Harris' emotional and physical welfare.  Anyone with information with regard to his whereabouts is urged to call 301.279.8000.
