Concern for Missing Potomac Area Man

For Immediate Release: Saturday, January 20, 2018

Update: January 20, 2018 - Sean Daniel Lough has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Potomac area man.

Sean Daniel Lough, age 36, of Potomac Crest Drive, last contacted family members by text message at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19.  Family members reported that Lough had not been seen for approximately one week prior to them receiving that text message.

Sean Daniel Lough is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  Investigators believe that Lough may be operating a gray, 2014 Honda Civic with Maryland tags: 5CK0592.

Police and family members are concerned for Mr. Lough’s physical and emotional welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sean Daniel Lough or his vehicle to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
