Concern for Missing Wheaton Teenager

UPDATE: February 15, 2018 - Candice Armony Malachi has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager.

Candice Armony Malachi, age 14, of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton, did not return home from school yesterday (Wednesday, February 14) and has not contacted her family regarding her whereabouts.  She is known to frequent the Aspen Hill area and Gaithersburg.

Malachi is described as an African American female, approximately 5’05” tall, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has long, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a red, full-length Helly Hansen coat, and red Vans sneakers.

Police and family are concerned for Candice Malachi's welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Candice Malachi is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
