Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

For Immediate Release: Thursday, March 8, 2018

Update (March 9, 2018) : Patrick McGinty was located deceased.  There is no indication of foul play involved in his death.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Bethesda man.

Patrick James McGinty, age 23, of Southwick Street in Bethesda, was last seen yesterday (March 7) at approximately 2:00 p.m. at his residence.  Family members have been unable to contact him since that time.

McGinty is described as a Caucasian male, 6’ 3” tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and facial hair.

McGinty may be driving a silver, 2010 Subaru Forester with Maryland tags: 2CG2474.

Police and friends are concerned for McGinty's physical and emotional welfare.
