Detectives Ask for Public’s Help in Locating Wanted Robbery Subject

UPDATE: March 19, 2018: Jose Guilermo Molina-Arevelo has been arrested out of state.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted subject: Jose Guilermo Molina-Arevelo (also known as “Malandro”), age 24, with a last known address of 11200 block of Valley View Avenue in Kensington.

Detectives have obtained a warrant for Molina-Arevelo’s arrest, charging him with two counts of attempted armed robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.  Investigators determined that Molina-Arevelo participated in the November 3 attempted armed robbery of the Cash Depot store located at 11246 Georgia Avenue in Wheaton. 

Jose Guilermo-Molina Arevelo is described as a Hispanic male who is 5’4” tall and weighs 140 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  Molina-Arevelo may have an eyebrow ring and earrings in both ears.  He is known to frequent the Home Depot store located at 14000 Georgia Avenue in Aspen Hill.  Investigators have determined that Molina-Arevelo is a known MS-13 gang member.
