Concern for Missing North Bethesda Area Juvenile

UPDATE: March 23, 2018 - Jessica Montoya returned home safe and unharmed yesterday.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Jessica Idalia Carranza Montoya, age 15, of the 600 block of Kingsford Road, was last seen as she left Walter Johnson High School located at 6400 Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda on Monday, March 19 at the time of dismissal (approximately 2:10 p.m.)  She did not return home from school and has not contacted her family regarding her whereabouts.

Montoya is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’ 3” tall, and weighs approximately 174 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  Montoya was last seen wearing a black sweater over a grey t-shirt shirt, and black pants.

Police and family are concerned for Montoya’s welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jessica Idalia Carranza Montoya is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
