Media Advisory: Chief Manger and Cold Case Detectives Announce Person of Interest in Disappearance of Alison Thresher

WHAT:

Press Conference to announce that detectives have developed a person of interest in the May 2000 disappearance of 45-year-old Bethesda resident Alison Thresher.  In February 2001, the Department announced that the missing person case was being investigated as a homicide and it continues to be investigated as such today.

WHEN:

TODAY - Thursday , April 12 at noon

Members of the media are asked to arrive early enough (but no earlier than 11:00 a.m.) to allow time for the security check-in process and escort to the lower level.  Please have a valid driver’s license ready to present to security.
