Concern for Missing Olney Woman with Dementia

Update: April 12, 2018 at 6:50 p.m. - Geraldine Williams has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman who is missing from Olney and has dementia.

Geraldine Williams (who also goes by the first name of Mary), age 76, was last seen by a family member at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night (April 11) in their Georgia Avenue home.  The family member woke up at approximately 7 a.m. this morning and discovered that Geraldine Williams was not in the home.

Williams is described as an African American female, 5’5” tall and weighing 140 pounds.  She has brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black, shoulder length wig with burgundy highlights, a brown, floral print jacket over a black shirt, black pants, and white shoes.  Ms. Williams does not drive but is familiar with public transportation.

Due to her dementia, police and family are concerned for Ms. Williams’ welfare.
