Detectives Investigate Germantown 7-Eleven Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the May 19 armed robbery of a convenience store in Germantown.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Saturday, May 19 at approximately 2:49 p.m., 5th District officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 12861 Clopper Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that an adult male employee was behind the counter when the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the registers.  The suspect obtained currency from the business and fled from the 7-Eleven.
