Concern for Missing Rockville Man

 UPDATE: May 29, 2018: Abayneh Arficho Hegana has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is missing from Rockville.

Abayneh Arficho Hegana, age 33, of the 12900 block of Margot Drive in Rockville, was last seen by a family member at approximately 7:00 a.m. yesterday (Sunday, May 27) leaving his Rockville residence on foot.  Hegana stated that he was going to church on Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring but did not attend the service and did not return home.

Hegana is described as a black male, 5’7” tall and weighing 130 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and facial hair.  Hegana frequently uses public transportation.
