Concern for Missing Rockville Area Man

Update: Gregory Douglas McGuthrie has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 1st District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Rockville area man.

Gregory Douglas McGuthrie, age 36, who was last known to reside at the Montgomery County Men’s Emergency Shelter located at 600 East Gude Drive, has been reported missing by shelter staff.

McGuthrie is described as an African American male, 5’ 8” tall and weighing 140 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes. McGuthrie was last seen wearing a long green Army coat and carrying a backpack.

Police and shelter staff members are concerned for McGuthrie’s physical and emotional welfare.
