Detectives Investigating Undetermined Death in Germantown

For Immediate Release: Friday, June 8, 2018

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division are investigating the undetermined death of an adult male who was located deceased inside of a vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping center in Germantown.

This evening (June 8), at approximately 6:08 p.m., 5th District officers responded to a shopping center located in the 20900 block of Frederick Road for the report of a suspicious situation involving a parked vehicle.  Officers observed an adult male deceased inside the car.

The male’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the manner and cause of his death.

The investigation is ongoing and therefore no additional details can be released at this time. Anyone with information regarding this death is asked to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5700.
