Silver Alert Issued for Missing Silver Spring Man

UPDATE: June 9, 2018 (5:09 am): Pernell Alton Lee Sr. has been located safe and unharmed.  The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Silver Spring man.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 82-year-old Pernell Alton Lee Sr. of the 800 block of Malibu Drive.  Mr. Lee has dementia.



Mr. Lee was last seen leaving his residence on Friday, June 8, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in a silver, 2009 Pontiac G8 with Maryland tag: 5GAR35.

Lee is described as a black male who is approximately 5’7? tall, weighs approximately 140 pounds, and has brown eyes and balding white hair.

Anyone with information regarding Pernell Lee's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
