Detectives Investigate Residential Burglary in Potomac; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate a May 27 residential burglary in Potomac.  Today, detectives are releasing home surveillance video of one of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The investigation by detectives revealed that on May 27, at approximately 2:30 a.m., one or possibly more suspects forced entry through a rear door of a residence in the 8500 block of Country Club Drive . The residents were not home at the time.  One suspect was observed on home surveillance video exiting the front door of the home.  The suspect(s) stole property and fled.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
