Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Bethesda; Surveillance Photograph of Suspect Released

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, June 20, 2018

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate the commercial burglary of the Tribalco LLC business located at 4915 St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance photographs of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The investigation by detectives determined that on Friday, June 8 at approximately 9:00 a.m., the suspect forced entry into the occupied business.  Once inside, the suspect looked into multiple work areas, entered one work area, and stole a credit card from an unattended purse in that area.

The suspect used the stolen credit card to make unauthorized purchases at retail stores in Bethesda, Washington, D.C., and Landover Hills.  Investigators have determined that the only property taken was personal credit cards belonging to that one employee.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
