Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, July 17, 2018

Update: July 19, 2018  at 5:45 p.m. - Alexander Fadi Ashy has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 21-year-old Bethesda man.

Alexander Fadi Ashy of the 8400 block of Quarry Ridge Road in Bethesda, was last seen in the 19800 block of Observation Drive in Germantown at approximately 3:18 p.m. on Friday, July 13. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a navy-striped tank top and khaki shorts.

Police and family are concerned for Ashy’s emotional and physical welfare. Anyone with information regarding Ashy’s whereabouts is urged to contact either the 2^nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
