Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

Update: July 19, 2018  at 5:45 p.m. - Alexander Fadi Ashy has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 21-year-old Bethesda man.

Alexander Fadi Ashy of the 8400 block of Quarry Ridge Road in Bethesda, was last seen in the 19800 block of Observation Drive in Germantown at approximately 3:18 p.m. on Friday, July 13. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a navy-striped tank top and khaki shorts.

Police and family are concerned for Ashy’s emotional and physical welfare. Anyone with information regarding Ashy’s whereabouts is urged to contact either the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
