Concern for Woman Missing from Silver Spring

Update: August 1, 2018 - Maria Clare Margot has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help to locate Maria Clare Margot. She was last seen at approximately 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, walking away from the Travel Lodge located at 8040 13th Street in Silver Spring.

Ms. Margot is described as a white, 30-year-old female, 5' 7" tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top, dark pants cut-off at the knee, gold flip flops, and a red baseball cap with the letter "W" on the front. She was carrying a light-blue backpack with a white stripe, and had a bandage on her upper left wrist.

Her last know address is in the 1200 block of M Street in northwest Washington, D.C., and she is known to frequently visit Washington, D.C. Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.
