Concern for Missing Teenager

UPDATE on 8/6/18: Abdalla Ahmed was located safe and unharmed on August 4 in Canada.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenager.

Abdalla Ahmed, age 17, was last seen on Monday, July 30, at approximately 2:10 am, at the National 4-H Conference Center located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase.  Ahmed was with a group of students from Iraq who were visiting various places in the United States, to include the Washington, D.C. area.  The group was staying at the 4-H Conference Center while in the area.

Ahmed is described as 5’7” tall, approximately 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans with flip flops.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Abdalla Ahmed is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24hrs) . Callers may remain anonymous.
