Concern For Piney Branch Road Resident

Update: On August 8 at approximately 10:18 a.m., Samly Keosiphanseang was located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 35-year-old male.

On Saturday August 4, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Samly Keosiphansaeng, left his apartment that he shares with family members in the 8900 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring.  Family has not heard from him during that time.

Samly Keosiphansaeng functions at an elementary school age level and sometimes is not responsive verbally.  He is described as an Asian male, 5' 7" tall, and weighing 140 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.  At the time that he left he was wearing a dark blue t-shirt, dark blue shorts, and gold and black Nike basketball shoes.  He is known to frequent the area surrounding the 7-Eleven near University Boulevard and Piney Branch Road.

Police and family are concerned for the welfare of Samly Keosiphansaeng and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call the Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000.
