Detectives Investigate Three Attempted Burglaries of Homes in Rockville; Photographs and Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 1st District Investigative Section and Rockville City Police Department are investigating three attempted residential burglaries that occurred in the Falls Grove area of Rockville on July 15 and July 16.

Today, investigators are releasing home video surveillance of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify him.

Below is a summary of the three attempted burglaries:

July 15-  Residence in the 400 block of Nature Lane, occurred at approximately 1:39 a.m. - Rockville City Police Department investigating

July 16- Residence in the 400 block of Nature Lane, occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. - Rockville City Police Department investigating

July 16- Residence in the 100 block of Jay Drive, occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m.- Montgomery County Police Department investigating

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding these crimes to contact 1st District detectives at 240-773-6084 or the Rockville City Police Department Investigations at 240-314-8938.  For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest of the unknown suspect(s).  Tipsters can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
