Concern for Missing Silver Spring Juvenile

Update: August 22, 2018 (3:42 pm) - Cristina Acre-Urrutia has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department -Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Silver Spring juvenile.

Cristina Acre-Urrutia, age 11, of the 1900 block of East West Highway, was last seen at her residence on Tuesday, August 21, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Acre-Urrutia is described as a Hispanic female, 5’01” tall and weighing 90 pounds. She has brown eyes and long dark brown hair.  Acre-Urrutia was last seen wearing ripped blue jeans, a floral crop top, and carrying a reusable shopping bag.

Police and family are concerned for Acre-Urrutia's welfare. Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Cristina Acre-Urrutia is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
