Concern for Missing Teenager

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing teenager.

Jackson Nzarubara, age 17, is visiting the Washington, D.C. area with a student group and was last seen by chaperones yesterday evening (Tuesday, August 21) at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the National 4-H Conference Center located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase on foot.

Nzarubara is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee.  Nzarubara was last seen wearing a black head band, a hoodie with a Mickey Mouse graphic on the front, gray Adidas pants, white tennis shoes, and a black jacket with gray lines on the sleeves and gray lettering on the front.   Nzarubara may also be carrying a black suitcase and a red backpack.

Jackson Nzarubara is from Rwanda and is unfamiliar with the area.
