Detectives Investigate Burglary of Golf Course Clubhouse in Potomac; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - 2nd District Investigative section continue to investigate the August 14 burglary of the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm golf course club house located at 10000 Oaklyn Drive.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Tuesday, August 14 at approximately 1:30 a.m., 2nd District officers responded for a commercial burglary alarm at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm club house.  Responding officers determined that the suspects had gained entry into the building through the roof.  The suspects did not obtain any property and fled from the building prior to officer’s arrival.

Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
