Concern for Missing Derwood Man

Update: September 2, 2018 - Marvin Darnell O’Brien has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Derwood man.

Marvin Darnell O’Brien, age 33, who resides in a group home on Granby Road, was last seen by caretakers at approximately 2 a.m. this morning (August 31), when he left the group home on foot.

Marvin Darnell O’Brien is described as an African American male who is 6’ 1” tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo on his forehead.   O’Brien was last seen wearing a blue scrub shirt and blue jeans.

Police and caretakers are concerned for Marvin Darnell O’Brien’s emotional and physical welfare.
