Police Ask for Public’s Help to Identify Theft from Auto Suspects – Remind Residents to Lock Vehicle Doors

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit continue to investigate two reports of thefts from vehicles that occurred in early August in Brookeville that Investigators believe have been committed by the same suspects:
August 1 at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the driveway of a residence located in the 21300 block of Ridgecroft Drive. One suspect driving a white pick-up truck stole property from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.
August 4 at approximately 3:04 a.m. in the driveway of a residence located in the 21300 block of Denit Estates Drive. Two suspects arrived in a white pick-up truck and stole property from the victim’s two unlocked vehicles.
Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help to identify them.
Thefts from unlocked vehicles continue to be a high-volume crime in Montgomery County. The Police Department urges all residents to take a role in preventing this type of crime by removing valuables from vehicles and locking all doors.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
