Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Gaithersburg; $30,000 worth of Copper Wire Stolen; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section continue to investigate the September 3 commercial burglary of an office building under construction located at 9900 Medical Center Drive in Gaithersburg. Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
Investigators have determined that on Monday, September 3 at approximately 6:54 p.m., the suspects forced entry into the building and stole copper wiring valued at $30,000.
Anyone who has information regarding this burglary and/or the suspects is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
