Silver Alert Issued for Missing Laytsonville Man with Alzheimer's

UPDATE: William Jackson has been located and has been reunited with his family.  The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Laytsonville man who has Alzheimer's.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 74-year-old William Jackson of the 21300 block of Golf Estates Drive.



Mr. Jackson was last seen today at his residence at approximately 3:45 p.m.  Mr. Jackson is believed to be driving a gray 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck with North Carolina tags: OBX84768.  There are tool boxes installed in the bed of the truck.  The vehicle also has numerous stickers affixed to the rear window to include two army stickers, 1 OBX sticker, and a NRA sticker.

Mr. Jackson is described as a white male who is approximately 5’8? tall, weighs approximately 210 pounds, and has blue eyes and gray hair.   Mr. Jackson has a short gray beard and wears glasses.  He was last seen wearing a tan and black plaid shirt and khaki pants.

Mr. Jackson may be attempting to drive to Williamston or Nags Head, North Carolina.

Anyone with information regarding William Jackson's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
