Detectives Investigate Germantown 7-Eleven Armed Robbery; Surveillance Photograph Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the October 4 armed robbery of a convenience store in Germantown.  Today, investigators are releasing a surveillance photograph of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Thursday, October 4 at approximately 2:31 a.m., 5th District officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 12301 Middlebrook Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that an adult male employee was behind the counter when the suspect entered the store.  The suspect approached the employee, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the registers.  The suspect obtained currency from the business and fled.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or this armed robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.  Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
