Concern for Missing Aspen Hill Area Juvenile

Update: October 22, 2018 - Edwin Preston Gomez has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department -Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Aspen Hill area juvenile.

Edwin Preston Gomez, age 14, of the 12600 block of Parkland Drive, was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, when he left his residence on foot.  Gomez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’11” tall and weighing 150 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  Gomez was last seen wearing a black jacket over a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack.

Police and family are concerned for Gomez’s welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Edwin Preston Gomez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
