Germantown Shooting Investigated as a Homicide

UPDATE: (October 23, 2018 - 12:05 pm) - The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Stephen Alexander Frazier of Germantown.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Division - Homicide Section are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Churchill Ridge Circle in Germantown as a homicide.

On Tuesday, October 23, at approximately 12:32 a.m., 5th District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a shooting that had just occurred in the 12900 block of Churchill Ridge Circle.  First responders located a 20-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound outside that address.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim's identity will be released once family has been notified.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation.  As additional information can be confirmed, it will be released.  Anyone with information regarding this death investigation is urged to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.
